Terms of service
Last updated: July 28, 2026
This website is operated under the Vancetic brand by Vancetic Inc, a Colorado corporation. Throughout these Terms of Service, “Vancetic,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Vancetic Inc doing business as Vancetic.
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of vancetic.com, including any content, functionality, products, checkout services, communications, and related services made available through the website.
By visiting the website, submitting information, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Return and Refund Policy.
If you do not agree to these terms, you should not use the website or place an order.
1. Eligibility and Authority
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract in your place of residence to place an order.
If you use the website on behalf of a company, organization, or another person, you represent that you have authority to bind that party to these Terms of Service.
This website is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. Children under 13 must not provide personal information through the website.
2. Shopify Platform
Our store is hosted through Shopify. Shopify provides the ecommerce platform that enables us to display products, operate checkout, process store information, and provide related commerce services.
Your use of certain Shopify-provided features may also be subject to Shopify’s applicable terms and privacy notices.
3. Products and Product Information
Vancetic sells physical dog accessories, including collars, harnesses, leashes, basket muzzles, and related products.
We aim to display accurate product titles, descriptions, photographs, measurements, colors, materials, prices, and available variants. However:
- Colors may appear differently depending on the customer’s screen or device.
- Handmade or natural materials may have minor variations.
- Product packaging may change without materially changing the product.
- Measurements may include reasonable manufacturing tolerances.
- Images may show multiple items or accessories for illustration.
Unless the product page expressly states otherwise, only the item and selected variant identified in the order are included.
We reserve the right to correct inaccurate product information, typographical errors, pricing mistakes, or omissions at any time.
4. Sizing and Product Selection
Customers are responsible for reviewing the product description, available variants, and measurement information before ordering.
Dog breed, age, or weight alone might not determine the correct size. Customers should measure the animal’s neck, chest, muzzle, or other applicable area and compare the measurement with the information displayed on the product page.
Selecting the wrong size, color, set, style, or variant is treated as a customer-responsibility return under our Return and Refund Policy.
5. Pet Safety and Proper Use
Customers are responsible for selecting, fitting, using, maintaining, and supervising the use of all pet products.
Before use, customers should:
- Read the product description and available care instructions.
- Confirm that the product fits correctly.
- Inspect buckles, stitching, straps, hardware, and attachment points.
- Discontinue use when a product becomes worn, damaged, loose, or unsuitable.
- Supervise the animal when appropriate for the product and situation.
No collar, harness, leash, or muzzle is represented as indestructible, escape-proof, bite-proof, or suitable for every animal or situation unless that statement is expressly supported on the applicable product page.
A basket muzzle or other restraint product is not a substitute for responsible supervision, behavioral assessment, professional training, or veterinary advice.
Stop using a product if it causes irritation, restricted breathing, injury, unusual behavior, or distress. Consult a veterinarian or qualified animal-care professional when appropriate.
6. Availability
Product availability may change without notice. Placing an item in a cart does not reserve it.
We may limit quantities, discontinue products, restrict sales, or cancel an order when:
- A product or selected variant is unavailable;
- Supplier information changes;
- A pricing or listing error occurred;
- We reasonably suspect fraud, unauthorized activity, or resale abuse;
- The shipping address cannot be serviced; or
- We cannot lawfully or reasonably complete the transaction.
7. Orders and Contract Formation
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase the selected products under these terms. An automated order confirmation acknowledges that we received the order but does not necessarily mean that the order has been finally accepted.
We may review payment authorization, inventory, supplier availability, shipping eligibility, and order information before accepting an order.
The order is accepted when we confirm acceptance or begin processing the order, subject to applicable law.
If we cancel an order after payment authorization or capture, we will issue the applicable refund to the original payment method.
8. Customer Information
You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate order, billing, contact, and shipping information.
You are responsible for errors resulting from inaccurate information, including an incorrect delivery address, missing unit number, incorrect email address, or incorrect telephone number.
Please contact us promptly when information needs to be corrected. Changes cannot be guaranteed after supplier processing or shipment begins.
9. Prices, Currency, and Taxes
Product prices are displayed in United States dollars unless checkout clearly indicates otherwise.
Product prices do not include shipping charges or applicable sales taxes unless expressly stated.
Applicable shipping charges and taxes are displayed during checkout before the order is submitted.
We may change prices at any time. A price change does not affect an order that we have already accepted, except where correcting an obvious error as permitted by law.
10. Payment
Available payment methods are displayed at checkout and may change over time.
By submitting payment information, you represent that:
- You are authorized to use the selected payment method;
- The information provided is accurate;
- You authorize the applicable charge for the order total; and
- You authorize reasonable fraud-prevention and payment-verification checks.
Payments may be processed by Shopify and other third-party payment providers. Vancetic does not normally receive or store complete payment-card numbers.
An order may be delayed or cancelled when payment is declined, reversed, disputed, flagged for review, or not successfully authorized.
11. Promotions and Discount Codes
Promotional offers and discount codes are subject to their stated terms, expiration dates, eligible products, and usage limits.
Unless expressly stated otherwise:
- Discounts cannot be exchanged for cash;
- Discounts cannot be applied after an order is submitted;
- Only one discount may be applied per order; and
- Discounts do not reduce taxes or shipping charges.
We may cancel or correct a promotion affected by an error, unauthorized distribution, abuse, or fraud, subject to applicable law.
12. Shipping and Fulfillment
Products may be fulfilled by independent suppliers and fulfillment partners. An order may be divided into separate shipments and packages may arrive on different dates.
Shipping charges, order cutoff times, handling periods, transit estimates, address requirements, tracking information, and delay procedures are explained in our Shipping Policy.
Delivery dates are estimates rather than guarantees unless we expressly state otherwise.
13. Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations
Return eligibility, return authorization, customer-responsibility returns, damaged-product claims, return shipping, non-returnable products, inspections, and refund processing are governed by our Return and Refund Policy.
Do not send products to our legal business address unless we specifically provide that address as the authorized return destination.
Products may need to be returned to a supplier-designated facility.
14. Fraud Prevention and Order Verification
We may use automated and manual measures to identify suspected fraud, unauthorized payment activity, account misuse, or other security risks.
We may request reasonable verification before accepting or fulfilling an order. We may cancel an order when verification cannot be completed or when we reasonably believe the transaction creates a fraud or security risk.
15. Acceptable Use
You must not use the website or its content to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation;
- Commit fraud or submit false information;
- Interfere with the website, checkout, servers, or security systems;
- Introduce malware, malicious code, or harmful technologies;
- Scrape, crawl, copy, or extract content through unauthorized automated means;
- Attempt unauthorized access to systems, customer data, or accounts;
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation;
- Infringe intellectual-property, privacy, or other legal rights;
- Use the website to distribute unlawful or harmful content; or
- Circumvent purchasing, product, territory, or security restrictions.
We may restrict access or cancel transactions associated with prohibited conduct.
16. Intellectual Property
The website and its original content—including branding, logos, graphics, page design, text, photographs, and code—are owned by or licensed to Vancetic and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may use the website for personal, non-commercial shopping purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, sell, license, or commercially exploit protected content without prior written permission from the applicable owner.
Product and supplier trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
17. Feedback and Communications
If you voluntarily provide product feedback, suggestions, photographs, or other content, you confirm that you have the right to provide it and that it does not violate another person’s rights.
We may use non-confidential feedback to improve our store, services, and customer experience. We will not publish a customer’s name, image, or identifiable review for advertising without the permission required by applicable law.
18. Third-Party Services and Links
The website may use or link to services operated by third parties, including Shopify, payment processors, suppliers, fulfillment platforms, shipping carriers, analytics providers, and other service providers.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for independent third-party websites or services that we do not control, except to the extent required by law.
19. Privacy
Our collection, use, disclosure, and protection of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
20. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website and its general content are provided on an “as available” basis.
We do not warrant that the website will always be uninterrupted, error-free, completely secure, or free from technical defects.
Product warranties, if any, are limited to warranties expressly stated on the product page or provided by the applicable manufacturer or supplier.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits warranties, remedies, or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
21. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Vancetic, Vancetic Inc, and their owners, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from the website, an order, or a product.
Where permitted by law, our total liability arising from a specific product or order will not exceed the amount paid to Vancetic for the product or order giving rise to the claim.
These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability arising from fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or other non-waivable legal rights.
22. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for losses, claims, or expenses resulting from your unlawful use of the website, material violation of these Terms, infringement of another party’s rights, or intentional misuse of a product.
23. Electronic Communications
By placing an order or contacting us electronically, you consent to receive order-related and service-related communications electronically.
Transactional communications may include order confirmations, payment notices, shipping updates, return information, safety notices, and responses to customer support requests.
Transactional communications are separate from optional marketing communications.
24. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the website when a user materially violates these Terms, threatens website security, engages in fraud, or uses the website unlawfully.
Provisions that logically continue after termination—including payment obligations, intellectual-property provisions, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute terms—remain effective.
25. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable United States federal law and, to the extent permitted, the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Nothing in this section deprives a consumer of mandatory protections available under the laws of the consumer’s state of residence.
Any legal proceeding may be brought before a court of competent jurisdiction, subject to applicable consumer-protection and jurisdictional requirements.
26. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
27. No Waiver
A failure to enforce a provision of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce that provision or another provision later.
28. Assignment
You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent.
We may assign these Terms as part of a merger, reorganization, sale of assets, financing, or other lawful business transaction.
29. Entire Agreement
These Terms and the policies incorporated by reference form the agreement between you and Vancetic concerning use of the website and purchases through the store.
30. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms to reflect changes to our business, products, services, technology, or legal obligations.
The revised version becomes effective when posted with an updated “Last updated” date, unless another effective date is stated.
